Hans Peter Litscher

Hans Peter Litscher (born in 1955 in Switzerland) lives as a curator, filmmaker, director and writer in Paris. He attended the theatre school of Jacques Lecoq and seminars by Gilles Deleuze before presenting his first theatre project in 1983. Since then, he has produced numerous “forensic theatre” projects. Recent venues include Hamburger Schauspielhaus (“The Thousand Deaths of Maria Magdalena Brettschneider”, 2001), the Theater der Welt festival (“Potemkinsche Dörfer”, 2002) and Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich (“Chekhov’s Three Distant Cousins”).
